Our Centurion campus, located in the tranquil suburb of Southdowns in Irene, serves as the home of Open Window. Designed as a central hub for creativity and collaboration, the campus provides students with access to Open Window’s full range of qualifications, from Higher Certificates to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.Â
The campus encourages innovation and interdisciplinary thinking, providing a focused yet accessible environment that supports both academic and creative growth. Positioned between Pretoria and Johannesburg, it remains well connected, with the Gautrain Centurion station just 3 km away and a bus stop directly in front of the campus.Â
The campus is also home to a dedicated team of staff and student support services, including academic advisors, administrative personnel, and professional counsellors. These resources are in place to assist students throughout their academic journey, ensuring they have guidance, support, and well-being services whenever needed

Open Window provides students with industry-standard facilities across all campuses, designed to support creative practice, experimentation, and professional development. Our Centurion campus offers a unique set of specialist spaces tailored to the disciplines taught here.
NOW Gallery
An exhibition space in the main building that encourages dialogue, creativity, and discussion around student and faculty artworks.
Acting Lab
A versatile studio for screen acting classes, voice and movement exercises, rehearsals, auditions, and small-scale performances.
Big Bob
Multi-purpose audiovisual space for sound design, cinematic playback, and flexible teaching setups. Supports Dolby Atmos-style surround sound configurations.
Darkroom
Analogue black-and-white photography facility supporting 35mm to 4×5 formats, with multiple enlargers and a Sinar 4×5 large format camera.
MakerSpace
Fab Lab, Ink Tank & Building Block
Specialist fabrication and printmaking facilities, currently in development, offering 3D printing, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, and large-format printing.
Grotto Film Production Studio
Multi-purpose audiovisual space for sound design, cinematic playback, and flexible teaching setups. Supports Dolby Atmos-style surround sound configurations.
Edit Suite
Film editing and grading station with high-end computers, colour grading monitors, and industry-standard software.
Pixel (Infinity Table)
Space for photographing small-scale projects and mock-ups, primarily for Communication Design and Illustration students.
Gear Room
Houses cameras, lighting, and recording equipment for film and media students, regularly updated with new industry-standard gear.
